Nick Caffrey is considered one of the finest unaccompanied singers in the North West of England. His extensive knowledge of traditional songs and ballads enables him to give talks and run workshops on traditional ballads and folk song.
He has previously been a member of Litany, The Wassailers and Th’Antique Roadshow bringing his fine vocals, knowledge and humour to Caffrey/McGurk/Madge.

Ed McGurk (vocals, guitar and cittern) is a long-standing supporter of the Lancashire folk scene as both a performer and organiser. From his early days as a member of resident bands Nevis and Litany at Clitheroe Folk Club, he went on to join the enduring and still successful ceilidh band – The Riot Band. Ed is also a founding member of popular folk group Bandersnatch.
He is a highly regarded solo performer of traditional and contemporary songs.

Robin Madge (vocals, anglo concertina and whistles) brought up in Watchet, Somerset, was a member of the folk/rock group Blind Panic, the duo Achilles Heel and the group Hen's Teeth. Robin & wife Anne have played for several Morris and Clogging sides; performed solo and hosted concertina workshops at folk clubs and festivals.
Robin has written a downloadable e-book called “Another Approach to the Anglo Concertina”, which details his esoteric style of Anglo Concertina playing. It is available from Amazon.
